  • I have been fortunate to work with Krista (Turiya) in a variety of situations. Krista has a beautiful way of adapting to each experience with effortless ease. Her love for nature and the essence of yoga shine through in the way she teaches as well as the way she interacts with her students and peers. She is truly genuine in the way in which she shows up, and has a positive affect on those in her presence. I feel blessed to know her as a fellow teacher and a friend and am excited that she is sharing her gifts and her Love with the world. OM Shanti

Krista has a divine gift of serving as a creative catalyst for bringing the roots of yoga alive in uplifting, dynamic, life-transforming ways. The brilliant subtleness in her graceful art of teaching is incredibly inspiring and I am infinitely blessed to have trained with the most enlightened yogi I have ever crossed paths with. Om Shanti

Krista is a love. If you want to be love, light, and joy Krista will be there with you, if you need an empathetic shoulder, ear or hug she will be there as well. For Krista – an ethos of love and an empathetic style are one in the same as this is her life practice. Translating all of this into teaching creates an experience which is a journey through the physical as much as it is the psychological. Krista will support you and challenge you in so many ways – if you let her in. I am so blessed to call her a teacher and a friend!

  • Chandra Waggoner says:

Though I had been practicing yoga for about eight years before I met Krista, I had never clicked with a teacher before the way I did with her. She is incredibly light and at ease when she teaches. She keeps the atmosphere casual and allows every student to be comfortable while still offering challenges and opportunities to go deeper for more advanced students. Krista is always thoughtful and compassionate in her speech and inspires the same in her students. She is truly a magnificent teacher, leading with her own light rather than trying to impose her knowledge on her students.

  • Tess says:

Krista is an amazing, generous person whose passion for what she teaches is evident throughout all aspects of yoga and meditation. She is very knowledgeable and professional, as well as a pleasure to be around. I recommend that anyone considering yoga teacher training learn with Krista.

  • Sara says:

Krista was my inspiring teacher during my training in Guatemala in April 2012. Her bright personality lights up any room and her smile is contagious. She taught me so much through her words but even more through her actions. She not only teaches yoga, but she lives yoga. She has a glowing, inviting ora that makes her very approachable if you have questions along your journey. I hope that you have the chance to study with Krista.

  • Christine says:

Krista is a true incorporation of serenity. She lives and breathes all that is yoga and it was an insightful journey to have her as our facilitator and teacher during our training on the yoga farm in Guatemala, November 2011. During the intense schedule we were under, she brought us understanding, support, and knowledge – elements that were valuable in making our voyage transforming and joyful. Her soft cheerful spoken ways, with her genuine yogi enthusiasm, make her an incredible inspiration and a teacher to look up to. I am thankful she was part of my process and look forward to ‘yoga’ing’ it again with her!

I have been lucky enough to work with Krista numerous times in various locations all of the world. Her spirit shines through her teachings. She is the essence of her spiritual name Turiya; the fourth state, the space between the breath, the silence after the OM. She has a way to captivate her students through her gentle caring nature and her wisdom of this ancient practice. I feel blessed to have her in my life as colleague, teacher, and great friend. Did I mention she is hilarious?!?! Love you Krista :)

    Much Love and Sunshine

wow. That is pretty much all I have to say about this adventure. If you are able to spend any time at all with these facilitators, do so. I could tell you all about how much the program changed my life, but it wouldn’t matter. Because you just have to experience it for your Self. Nothing but love. Highly recommend.

  • Krista has a lovely presence and a calm nature. You will be in capable hands under her guidance!

  • S.Marti says:

Krista is an excellent teacher, poised with grace and compassion, she presents information in a knowledgeable and organised way. Her thoughts are clear, her words are precise, her passion evident. I am not an ho-hum-ohm or meditation sort of student so learning from Krista was just the experience I needed. She has a noncrtiical approach to people and ideas and can therefore effortlessly guide students through complex and sometimes even alternative expressions of yoga to help make sense of the traditions and practices. I would highly recommend a course with her if you are considering a teacher training. Her gentle methods are effective and sweet. She is a delight on and off the yoga mat!

  • Lucy Obetz says:

Krista is a beaming bright light. I feel so lucky to have had her as one of my teachers as she has given me so much. She is confident, selfless, hardworking, and full of love and heart. She is a true inspiration to me and a beautiful example of a being who truly leads their life from the heart.

  • Jamie Pemble says:

Experiencing this yoga teacher training with Krista as my facilitator was a God-send; its like the stars aligned and gave me the perfect teacher that I needed in my life at that very moment! She has an incredible ability to inspire and empower her students through her ability to meet you exactly where you are. She is intuitive, strong, kind and full of love. I have never met someone who lives their yoga so congruently inside and out! I am eternally grateful for her guidance on my inner journey!

  • Brijin Hales says:

Krista is the personification of poise. I have said it before and will type it now: she is the type of yoga teacher I actively seek out—balanced, consistent, talented—a being earnestly and honestly living her yoga. I remember my training and time with her with great fondness and absolute appreciation.
